FAQS:

You have to send your score officially through ETS which will cost you 20 USD. (1650 INR)
You can appear for IELTS, if not TOEFL.
ETS allows students to take the TOEFL iBT as many times as they wish. Test-takers are only restricted by a rule mandating a 12-day waiting period between TOEFL administrations. Since the TOEFL is offered more than 50 times per year, in theory an individual student could take the exam at least 25 times annually. The only exception is for students who are suspected of violations in a given TOEFL administration; these students may have their registration for later test dates cancelled. For students taking the TOEFL PBT, retakes are effectively constrained by infrequent offerings.
Registration is involuntarily cancelled only for issues at the testing center (such as loss of power or inclement weather) and in cases of suspected academic dishonesty (such as attempting to impersonate someone else while taking the test).
Yes, you may retake the test innumerable times. But ensure that you keep a 3-day gap between test.
Yes, you may avail of an additional score report for an additional cost if you apply for it. You can apply for it only after officially receiving your test scores. Since you can get your score report within 10 days of the test, you may apply for additional reports after this time frame. You may order for it through phone, mail, or online.
Scores will be made available in 6 days from the day you have taken the test. After 8 days, you will be able to download a PDF copy of the score report. Paper score-reports will be made available if you opted for them during registration and are mailed within 11 days.
Yes, you can send your TOEFL scores to multiple universities or programs when you register for the test. You can also send additional score reports to institutions later, for a fee.
There is no pass or fail score for the TOEFL. Universities and programs have their own score requirements for admission.
Yes, you can retake the TOEFL if you are not satisfied with your initial score. However, there may be limitations on how often you can retake the test.
